Anybody hunting it? I saw no other hunters yeaterday, all day in woods. Very few shots.

i'm going there on saturday , went to weiser state forest , and state game lands right near there on monday , and was at beltsville today , definitely going there on saturday , did you see any deer or black bear when you were there ????

I haven't seen a thing last two days. I did see a bear, and some deer during bow season in the 3D section, mainly below the group camping section. I shot a doe there during muzzeloader week. Also saw a good 6 ptr. I talked with a guy there today and he said there were about 6 - 8 shots on Monday morning. No deer were taken out of there today.
Did you hunt the SGL in 4C, near Uniontown? Any luck?

haven't been to sgl 141 , 149 , or 140 yet , i'm just really puzzled about the way the opener went , before the season started i spotted close to 60 deer at one time in the fields below where i hunted and now nothing , and there were bear in the area right before the opener too , my mom lives in the penn forest area and she had two bears in her back yard on sunday night before the opener, anyway i still have the rest of the season and the late flintlock season into january to go and get some deer
