R they still making rubs in MD?
 
Went to a new area yesterday (Pax River State Park in Howard county) and saw what looked like fresh rubs on oak trees about the size of a man' s wrist.
I thought that it' s a little late for rubbing? Any ideas?

Also, can you tell the size of a rack via length of a rub?

I have been seeing major rubs where i have been hunting (southern carroll county) I was just asking on another forum what that meant. Does the rubbing activity meaq the rut is still on? I am telling you-these rubs are hit up every day! I have found 3 trees as thick as my thigh that are getting hit hard! I found over 11 rubs in like a 35 yard radious. Here is one of the bigger trees:
