New York State Hunters!
 

Hey!
Any New York state hunters hunt the 3j or 3m areas and have you had any luck getting or sighting a buck or doe? I saw one doe which didn' t present a shot the 1st day of gun season. The 2nd day I didn' t see a thing. Going back out this week-end and try again. Saw 1 Buck and 2 doe the last saturday of bow season.

Hunt in the 3H area of Sullivan county.

Friend of mine got a spike on opening day, I missed a doe.

Weather was not good after about 8am on the opener, and we didn' t even go out on Tuesday. Couldn' t see 5ft in front of us with the fog and all.

Passed on a doe before the fog moved in at 3C. If i knew about the fog wouldn' t have passed it up. Same deal as Catskillhuntr, left the catskills tuesday morning when fog came back in. Stopped at Walkill at old farmland and cousin' s in-laws got a very nice 8pointer and a big (apprx 200 lb) doe. Hoping season improves significantly starting tommorow as weather seems to be picking up.

shot 2 does so far one on the last day of bow season and the other the second doay of gun my buddy also shot a BIG spike and a doe both goijn out this week after turkey day i am hunting in 3m campball hall
