First sighting
 

Saturday driving home from town I saw my first fisher running across the road. They are a handsome animal but also pretty nasty. These critters have been around here for several years since the PGC transplanted them and they have done havoc with our turkey and squirrel populations too.

We have quite a few of them here too. Had one run up a log right towards me a couple years ago. Pretty big critter when they are 10 feet away.

I saw one while spotlighting three years ago. Then had one run up a tree about twenty yards from me one day while deer hunting.

Destructive critters. But cool to see.
