nice pic's as always and a good mix of bears there
I haven't had a bear at my place now in almost 10 days, funny, about every yr, from end of AUG till end of sept, I seem to STOP getting bears here, and its at the same time as MOST all my apple tree's start dropping apples?
I have a good 300+ lbs of apples laying about going bad right now?
BUT come early Nov I seem to get a BOAT load of them back?
I guess there sucking up all the corn in the fields a few miles from me they can before it gets cut LOL
then come here and suck up all apples left before denning up! LOL
when does your bear season start, or has it already?
been a LONG time since I hunted in NJ

Nice Bears and pictures. I was up hunting SGL 209 Pond Eddy on Monday and I had a nice Bear walk by me on stand. I got some good video on him with my phone. I wish I had the computer smarts to download it. Might hunt Digmans Ferry this weekend of of RT739. Lots of Bears around. I'm going to miss Bear Archery this year. Will be Bowhunting Iowa first week of November. Maybe get a poke at one Bear rifle season. GREAT PICTURES!!!!!

with the crappy weather we had all week I went hunting two times out of the 6 day hunt. On tuesday I had a 250 lb bear at 80 yards and ended up winding me. went back out Saturday morning, I decided to leave the bow at home, and I took the muzzleloader. at 7:15am I took this small bear, it was 40 yard shot and the 250 gr. T-EZ Barnes Sabot did the job
