I will be in Potter County deer hunting next week. Is "elk country" close by? On Sunday when we finish scouting might be a nice use of time to do a short road trip and see some elk if they are near by!

Benezette is probably 35 or so minutes from Austin.If you drive south of Austin on rt 872 and heads towards Sinnemahoning,you should see some elk as you get near rt 120.There's a fair amount of elk in that area.
