No bears are trapped and relocated within 30 days of bear season.When they trap them they tranquilize them.They have to give it 30 days to leave the bear's system so someone doesn't eat it.

30 days is right before if the bears are using an area for feed in the fall.

To me a week would be right before hunting season.
