XI, I know how you feel....we all know how you feel! There' s a big state mental institution right up the road.....I may have to check myself in if it takes much longer! I remeber when Christmas used to take forever to get here....then I got older and now it flies by, but archery season can' t ever get here soon enough!

I want to hunt so bad, i actually want to go right now!!! but only 3 more day of school this week and 5 next, as long as i can get through those ill be ok... But next week i will have a routine, wake up , go to school , come home , shoot , eat and come talk hunting on here. thats all i will be doin, maybe watch a few hunting movies in tehre too.

10 DAYS!

We' re almost into the single digits for the countdown here folks. Went scouting last night and found a rub line on trees about 3.5" DIA. Kicked up a doe and a scrub, saw 11 deer in my short drive, 3 bucks 8 does. Only one legal, and not a shooter for me. Winter coats are on in full, racks are polishing up nice, and I want to hunt badly!

I am going nuts here , all i do is shoot , shoot , shoot , then eat , go to school , and go to practice. give it about a day or 2 and ill have my camo all washed up and hangin out in the maple tree :D . I am hoping i dont have ice hockey early on the opener like usual, but if i do theres a few shooters i have seen in the little section of woods by the rink. so i might take the ol man and shimmy up a nice tree and wait for him to come by.

5 days left , never mind xmas ,i get more excited for opening than christmas , need to bowhunt ........ i' m can' t hold on much longer , big groundhog in back yard may get it !!!!!!

Is it wrong to visualize your shot placement on your dog? I' ve been doing that a lot lately. Not with a bow drawn of course....just when he moves across the living room I pick my shot.

ohh boy, it' s almost here. got 6 tags to fill, 5 doe 1 buck. and a new muzzleloader. looks like it' s going to be a good year. got my doe and two unsold, and 2 state forrest tags here in pike county. was out looking at my stand today and saw 9 doe and 3 bucks, 6 pointers and up. wish all good luck this year. AND KEEP IT SAFE OUT THERE!!!! we don' t need to give the anti' s any fuel for there fire!
