Does anyone know of any state forest, game lands, or wildlife management areas near Albany or the Capital district that provide a good opportunity for some grouse or even if they release pheasants?

I'm looking particularly for a flat bottom/field area to help train a friend's dog (pheasants) and to take my springer out; separate occasion (grouse).

Anywhere within an hours drive would be fine. Thanks!
