Beautiful Buck
 

This morning on my way to work I saw a beautiful 6 or 8 point buck standing on the side of the road, munching on some acorns. Very nice oak colored rack, bout as wide as his ears, and just as high.

This was on Old Stage Road in East Brunswick, NJ. He was just on the edge of a powerline corridor that ran between a set of houses. Perfect funnel setup, but you can' t hunt there. Funny thing is, you could see and old rickity treestand just behind him.

Are you sure that you cant hunt there? Check it out as I know lots of guys hunting small lots down in Monmouth County. You never know?

You can definately hunt the other side of the road, which is a conservation park. I' ve already looked into that.

Maybe a setup across the road, directly in line with the power lines. Possible funnel I would think.
