rut ?

My opinion is before the Hurricane deer were real active and then nothing. Monday I noticed fresh scrapes lone fawns and more bucks on the move. good luck

There is alot of factors that can effect the rut. Weather, human pressure and a high buck to doe ratio will make it seem nonexistent.

The bucks have been on the move in my neck of the woods since the hurricane. One of the best years for deer activity in a while.

This is about what I've seen also in PA. I let 5 legal buck walk hoping to get a crack at one of the big boys I had on my cams. But after the hurricane I didn't see squat. First year that I can remember that I haven't had buck chasing. And I was out morning an evening almost every day from 10/31 to 11/12 - normally the 'hottest' time in this area to see rut activity.
A lot of scrapes but no chasing?!
