Field Dressing / Central NJ

This is my first post, everyone, so Hello!

I'm wondering if ne-one would save some of the organ meat when field dressing their kill?

I'm looking for organs like the liver, heart, etc. to feed to my new kitten I just got 4 Christmas!

Any would be appreciated. Please send me a PM and we can negotiate compensation.

Thanks everyone, and God bless!

selling any part of a deer in New Jersey is against the law

Good to know

Thanks, Bowhunting. That's good to know.

It would have to be a nominal compensatioin for your effort then.

i would rather eat the heart and liver myself and feed the kitten purina :)

What kind of cat do you have...a tiger? Never heard of feeding organs to a domestic cat. I would think it would get worms.

my wife said its called cat food with proper nutrition lol

A couple years back the NJ Game Commission issued a warning about eating deer organs because of all the heavy metal deposits detected in samples.

Why don't you buy some Cat food instead, it's much easier that way
