I don't use a feeder

Could be a couple things...maybe the animals have another food source they prefer right now, or maybe they've figured out the game and know that now's a good time to stay away from the bait pile.

80 gallon drum
grease from restaurant
molasses (mix those two together)
cut hole just above molasses and wait, the scent will get them.
