Well, the DEC was awfully nice to all the meat hunters out there last year, with all the liberal tag handouts and sign offs and what not. If you wanted to harvest some doe, it probably wasn' t hard to find a tag.

So, does anyone know if we' re gonna see the same kind of liberal harvest laws this year, or was that a one year " test" period?

Also, I have heard about hunters who have got busted when a tag was not " signed off" properly. I took a close look at a permit from last year, and I cant seem to understand what is needed to put someone elses tag on your deer; that is of course if will even be allowed this year. Does anyone out there know the proper procedure to do this?

That is the ONLY way to do it.

If you do it any other way you can get in alot of trouble:)
