under privledged kids
 

So I gave 2 kids some kids those family doesn't have a lot of money some of my old military gear that I cant' wear anymore so they have decent hunting clothes .It was 2 gortex coats, 2 gortex pants, 4 sets of light weight and medium weight thermals and 2 pairs of black leather winter boots. The kids and family were grateful. I just found out this past hunting season some adults they hunt with were upset they had all this gear. I just don't know why they would be upset. Did I do something wrong by this? Personally I don't care but just seeing what everybody else thinks about these adults.

I'd hunt in jeans if I had to! They're kids! Let them be excited about the outdoors and keep em' safe and warm. You did a great thing! Kudos to you!

I hunt in my military clothes right now. And when u upgrade to Somthing a lil better I'd be happy to give away all my old military gear to give a kid a chance to just get outside and enjoy a good hunt. If those people are mad then they can go out and buy those kids a full new set of camo if not they can shut it. Great thing you did for the kids.
