Giant NY buck: 205" typical

This buck was killed by Dave Edwards in Cortland County, NY on the final weekend of the regular firearms season. The deer reportedly scores 205 gross / 185 net. Looks like it'll be this year's biggest typical in NY. Congrats to Dave on tagging one heck of a NY buck!!!

No kidding, though-that is impressive; on the last weekend no less!!

Beautiful. Too bad regarding the deductions tho (if the green scores were accurate).

WOW,, Nice Looks like a brother

Hey WNY Bowhunter the big buck you listed on 11-30-10 looks like it could be a brother to this one...
I hunted Steuben County this year also , We do see some nice bucks but not quite in that caliber....
He must be all bone ... Nice buck...

I see a 7x6 typical mainframe with 3 abnormals? I don't think that the beam is broken either, looks like he had some funky little min-crabclaw thing going on.

Yep, I'm quite familiar with the B&C scoring method too. Still don't see why the "G2" on the right would be considered an abnormal (weird looking yes).

Are you familiar with the hunter and the deer other than on this thread? I justed posted the numbers that I was given.
