Scrapes and rubs all over the property in Gainesville, NY (Southern WNY). Bucks have their nose to the ground traveling. Although I didn't get one yet, I saw a beautiful 8 point on Saturday. He was about 80-100 yards away. I tried grunting and bleating him in but he wasn't interested.

I was bowhunting in Madison County over the weekend. Very little deer movement!!! I saw one 4 point and he was just feeding. I looked all over and i could not find a scrape.

Charlie Alschiemer says our rut will be Thanksgiving week.
