I'm near Rochester and each time I see a buck, it has been chasing does. Infortunately, too far away from my stand

Saw another nice buck last night cruising by himself. Snuck up on me with all the wind. Never heard him coming. Didn't want anything to do with the grunt tube. Looked like he was on a mission. I think its gonna be a good weekend/upcoming week. Should be lots of action. Hope to see some nice pics.

I have been in the woods every day this week and have seen bucks trailing/chasing every day..

This morning I nearly was run over by a doe going about Mach III with two bucks right on her tail...

Big increase in freshly worked scrapes the last 2-3 days also...

Default Weather getting better

Its been so warm her on Tue and Wed. it was in the 70 ,s .
Today low to mid 40,s
Tonight well its now 1220 am its 32 degrees .
Suppose to be mid 40,s and low 30,s net few days , should get them going ...
I,v only seen a couple small bucks doing some head bannging a week or so ago abought 4 days straight .
One was shot at. yup neighbor or non of his younger hunting buddies took 2 shots at one of them a fw days ago .
I havent seen either since...
I no nothing I can do or say its his land ..
I like to keep the younger deer around to let them mature .
I was young and eager once to , so been there done that..
Anyways good luck this weekend ..
I need to hit the sack or I,m not getting up in the a,m,

IN southwest New York things are picking up quickly. Bucks are chasing and seeking hard. Although I saw a nice 8 pt. locked down with a doe last wednesday. Scary!

I agree that the bucks are starting to seek and chase. Saw several bucks this weekend with heads down, locked on the trail. ALso saw one chasing several does around in a hayfield for over half and hour. One of the big guys I have been after got hit by a car below my house at 1230 in the afternoon yesterday. Real shame and luckily nobody got hurt. If you have the time, stay in the woods as long as possible near some areas where the does are hanging.

This cold weather will help things along. I'll be out this weekend and I'll be bringing some doe in heat to see what happens.
