Default OK N.Y. ers who,s seeing them ...

I no its only day 1 for our Northern NY early bow season ..but .
I,m sure theres been some of you guys out , spotting, scoping, checking plots, scouting and yes today legaly bow hunting (at least if you have last years tag..)
So whats the verdict .
Mine is as of now all the pics I,ve been geting on my trail cams and spotting , The overal deer count is up from last year .
And the turkey count is WAYYY up ...Ton of hens and a few jakes..around my plots this year...Theres got to be a tom or two ..

I went out yesterday morning.I saw a few but I didn't get a shot.Saw one turkey but that's still a few days away.Been getting a fair amount of rain in my area with more in the forecast for the next few days.

LOL! Dude you need need to take a keyboarding class.

I've been seeing plenty of does and small bucks. I hope to be in the ground blind tonight if it stops raining.

Been seeing tons and tons of deer in the Catskill region also spotted two coyotes and i hear them day in day out.

Default Sorry I,m all thumbs

Only computer in my school when I went was the principles .. LOL..
Ya I ve got a few pics of coyotes to .
I dont like to just shoot an animal of course unless its preying me or worse ..But I did take care of a few a couple years ago ,,
Seen a big doe and 2 fawns this afternoon around 6:30 pm .
They came out of the woods and were very nervous and didnt stay more then 5 minutes , until they trotted off back into anther section of the woods..
I,m positive they did see or here me , someone of something pushed them by me , ???

I've seen plenty of deer and turkeys. friends of mine say that they see alot of really small turkeys this year.

Been out everyday, only seen 1 doe so far. Tonight had a cool red fox come in, and take a whiff at some scent I had on the ground. My kid, has seen deer everytime out, but no shots yet. Guess thats what I get for putting him in my best spots, hehehe. I think the pop is down in 6k last couple yrs.
Got some nice trail cam pics at my spot in 7m, though.

Started seeing more deer last couple days, and was able to take a nice doe this evening. Fresh meat in the freezer!!!!!!!

Default Better year

s far I,ve seen a lot more deer this season , at least a 40 % better average .
Ive seen deer every evening but one , and on that evening I had 11 turkeys come up to 35 yards of my stand ...
Nothing close enough yet...
