I'm looking for some good spots around Morgantown for trout or bass I appreciate any responses

Cheat Lake for bass. Lots of nice bass in there, and not fished very heavy. You just have to watch your timing to avoid all the pleasure boaters.

The closest trout fishing is just across the MD line in MD. Just an hour drive from Morgantown on I-68. About 1/2 dozen good streams concentrated around the Yough. Tom.
