Md hunter education

I am moving to Md this year and have a hunter education card gun and bow from NY. Do I have to retake a hunter ed course for Md. The dnr web site says something about 1977. Mine is from 1990 or so. Thanks for any info you can give

No, you don't. Your good. You will have to show that card everytime you get a licence just like I do iwth my KY hunters safety card.

Or you would have had to hunted before 1977. Not really enforcable.

Just remember this. If you don't have your Hunters ed card with you when you purchase your licence every year, they will put on the licence, hunt ed card required. So bascially you have to pack the hunters ed card with you every time you hunt.

So its handy to have it with you when you buy the licence.
