Default Pa Birds Gobbling

I went out this morning to listen for birds, it was cold in the 30's but the birds were gobbling pretty good. The season here is more than a month away, it doesn't start here until May 1. Just wanted to know is anyone in Pa, or were your season hasn't started yet if you were hearing any birds.

LX, where in PA are you? I'm in NJ, and I was thinking of getting up before daylight to tomorrow, and head over to my spot to hear if they gobble, plus my daughter really wants to hear them gobble

Yeah, they are all fired up but as usual they will be call shy by time the season opens from guys calling them a month before the season begins.

isn't that the truth! too many guys watch too many hunting shows. when all they need to do is walk out a ridge an listen..leaving the calls in the truck..those birds will be right there an more eager to respond in a few weeks without all the idiots running around trying to imitate Mike Waldel
