Your habitat is being destroyed. Those deer need killed at once.:sheep:

I also find it funny how you think that growing trees behind a fence with zero deer is a completely natural environment.

Here's just a few examples of why the USP is considered a lunatic fringe group by responsible sportsmen.

They've been predicting imminent and immediate doom for the deer herd not just since Alt and AR/HR but since the first bonus doe tag was sold back in the 80's.

Their most prominent spokesman, Mister Slinsky predicted the herd would be down below 50,000 animals by now.

Then theres the infamous amish mountain lion attack

A past president and lifetime honorary member was arrested on ten counts of selling deer meat

The perpetuation of coyote/mountain lion/wolf stocking conspiracy hoax's

The multitude of simply preposterous claims in the original lawsuit.

Can they take credit for the audit? Maybe. The lawsuit undoubtedly helped that along. So what? In a world where a little old lady can get millions for spilling hot coffee in her own lap or where burglars can sue the homeowner for an injury incurred during his criminal act, taking credit for the fruits of an idiotic baseless lawsuit is certainly no validation of an organizations legitimacy.

DougE said it best. USP is a festering boil on the backside of all responsible PA sportsmen.

"Here's just a few examples of why the USP is considered a lunatic fringe group by responsible sportsmen."

They are?? The only ones ive seen pushing that notion is the highly biased environmentalists trying to discredit them, because usp is so adament about ending their deer plan. Anyway doubting that can simply go to hpa and see who the ones are that are badmouthing them...Or you can simply go to the audubon website, where they attack usp over and over again.

Ive done some research on pretty much all the "players" involved and know more than a little about whats going on... And know usp is seen as "the enemy" not because any of the made up nonsense their detractors cook up, but because they dont support the failed deer plan and have enough clout to do something about it in the ways of lawsuits, lobbying legislators etc....

"Their most prominent spokesman, Mister Slinsky predicted the herd would be down below 50,000 animals by now."

Not true, and you know it because its been addressed. He was speaking of the RATE of decline and nothing more. Just another thing taken out of context by the enviros. Not sure why you would want to perpetuate that mistruth when you KNOW it to be so and previously even admitted it was taken out of context by the detractors???

Then theres the infamous amish mountain lion attack
Again, misconstrued. No proof of any wrongdoing on usp part was ever had...but again didnt stop the enviro's from twisting that situation just as they always have and always will in an attempt to keep potential members from joining usp and further strengthening "the enemy".

"DougE said it best. USP is a festering boil on the backside of all responsible PA sportsmen"

What would you think doug would say being form an "enviro extreme" oriented group who seek to "bridge the gap" between sportsmen and enviros?? Also, if that were true, then what would that equate pgc to...Or can we even say it here without getting banned? :lolabove:

By the looks of the deer herd anywhere but suburbia I, and the majority of sportsmen/women/youth, in the state would say they were spot on about that!!!!!!!!

BtB can bash the USP until the cows come home ,but he will accomplish nothing. But, now thanks to the USP and the data provided in the audit there is no way he can defend the DMP. Even Doug admits the data the PGC is using to manage the herd is flawed and no one has an answer for why regeneration decreased in the majority of the WMUs even with a 40% reduction in the herd.
