Here, instead of floundering around tossing out only one year or so that you can find data on heres a good source of harvest data: http://www.fortgrundsow.com/Harvest.html
Was the link I provided showing 22 years running too hard to read? I said "for example" when using 1986. You're also dead wrong about the actual count. They were using estmiates in 1986 as well.

LMAO

..Of course it was, in fact i believe it was the first year. Unfortunately for you the "estimated" buck harvest was over 150,000 in 1986!!

Not estimated at 109k like in 2007...

W-R-O-N-G ---A-G-A-I-N!!

And if you were speaking of overall harvest, then i guess we can call it the second lowest harvest in 30 or 40 years? lmao. Despite the fact we can use so many tags now and have a bazillion added opporunities? Gee thats great.

"Was the link I provided showing 22 years running too hard to read?"
A pdf file of 145 or so pages, in pdf format, to sort through and then you pick one year to compare? YES. And the link i provided goes back alot further as well.

BTB says:
"I do agree that I did word it improperly. Seperate doe tags started 1984. The bonus tags were 88. I incorrectly typed it as if they came at the same time."

I really didnt see any problems in wording so much as problems in knowing what you were talking about. I think this statement was pretty clear as to your intent:

"Nope, sorry, seperate doe and bonus tags began before that. Want to guess when? I suggest you check your facts . "

I particularly liked the "check your facts" part. lol.

You worded it wrong once again because doe tags were always " separate from the general license tag that permitted a hunter to harvest one antlered deer. Separate doe tags did not start in 1984, doe tags were always separate from the general license for the last 50 years.

Wrong again Larry. When the limit was one deer per year, antlerless licenses did not include a tag. A hunter had to use the one tag that came with his general license. Beginning In 1984, antlerless tags had their own additional tag thus allowing a second deer. One buck with the general license and one antlerless with that license AND TAG. I made a mistake when I included the bonus tags in my first post but the whole point you tried to make was false because muliple kills were part of the harvest in 1986.

Duck and dodge, bob and weave, but your original point was wrong! wrong! wrong! AGAIN
