snow totals?

So the driveway is finally pretty much clear after a week of snow. We had 10-12" Tuesday night in Hobart, NY and then another 3' plus from Thursday night thru Friday, then another 2-3" Friday night and 1" last night. I like winter and snow, but I have had enough. I think we were one of the areas hardest hit and snow is in the forecast every day this week 'til Friday. How's everyone else enjoying the snow??

all time record snowfall for a single day and broke the "record for an entire year" snowfall (just this 1 day that it snowed here) since 1964 or something. to every reaction there is an equal to or opposite re-action...global warming?

Here in my part of S.W,PA we got about 30 inchs or so and I'm sick of shoveling .With any luck I will get a snow blower for B-day # 50.

SE Penna we had 5 snow falls that I remember:

12"
24"
24"
1"
12"

Those are the snows that I remember. There may have been a few inch or twos I'm forgetting.

Upstate, I'm not sure. We had 10" of snow in mid-October. I was up on Friday and the snow was up to my knees.

As of the middle of last week there had been 125" total at the WVU Forest in Northern, WV(Preston Co). Since then we got another dump at the end of the week and in to the weekend. Blizzard like conditions that caused I-68 which runs thru the forest to be shut down Friday.

Here in NE MD, we've had close to 90" to date. That's a new record and I have come to hate snow. However, I feel thankful when I consider that the westernmost part of our state received 263" . . . so far . . . !

It's really hard to say in the Laurel Mts of south central PA..because of the elevation and wind it's a tough call...but it's at least what Garrett Co. Maryland got and maybe then some..I have around two feet in my flat yard still even after the so-called melt...coyote hunting in Feb, I saw somwhere between 3 and 4 feet of snow in the woods..look out below Cambria and Somerset Co. this weekend, someone going to start getting a ton of water...it'll make news that I promise..

Way below avg in my area. Was great not having to work at clearing so much but now we've got to sweat the water table being way low.
