I'm no big fan of the PGC, but I have to say what are these people thinking. They sell off so many doe tags, decimate the herd then restrict the hunting. Why don't they just go back to the split buck and doe season the way it used to be? The only thing they're doing is making so that many don't want to hunt PA anymore. When I hear this stuff I get the picture of a monkey and a football. Let your imagination take you to the conclusion on that one.

By the time you can legally shoot a doe in the rifle season, the first week of buck only and that youth/senior hunt that goes on the week before will have all of the deer holed up in some out of the way place or behind posted signs. I really do think that deer can read. Ever see one run across the road and stop right behind the tree that has the posted sign on it and watch you?
