I am new to hunting in general and will be hunting in Mass for the first time ever this year. If I don't have any land to hunt what should I do?
Is my only option to stick to the WMAs? Should I go door to door to every farm in western Mass and ask for permission?
Can anyone help me out? Give me some tips? Point me in the right direction? Or...take me with them?
I am going to be bowhunting turkey this spring and deer this fall. All my questions apply to both.
Thanks in advance!

Andrew... Beartown Mtn State Forest is getting better every year... we do most of our gun hunting up there on public land.
as for archery... just get to know some people and get permission in small chunks... that's about all we do out here..

I hunt Easton, Norton, West Bridgewater, Middleboro, Halifax, Hanson and I have seen a lot of deer this year, especially more bucks. In fact most seasons I am lucky if I see 1 buck, mostly does, but this year was 3 bucks in a day sometimes.
