I think a huge problem is that alot of guys just dont understand all thats going on, and hunters are so apathetic when it comes to politics. Id bet that most who arent happy currently have no idea who to voice their opinions to or what to do at all. Kind of hard to get all 900,000 or so on the same page.

On another note, here is what one Pa game commission employee has to say about our (hunters) opinions, and anyone elses who doesnt support the current agenda, when everyone on another board was asked about what should be done to fix things:

"Develop a capsule containing wildlife and habitat management knowledge that could be given to hunters, members of the public, the State Legislature and anyone else in need of the same which they couldn’t dispel and lasted a lifetime. Perhaps it could be slipped into their food like you were worming the dog?

Thats from the same individual who said he'd like to see hunters take their funding and take a flying leap. Thats the exact sentiment that is predominant at this hunter unfriendly disgustingly condescending commission currently.

That is THE problem. Especially in this day and age, most cant be bothered to fact check. Case in point, Obama. All one has to do is go over the PGC's own website and read. But they'd rather believe a song and dance than to use their heads.

Bingo, and I'm not just talking about the PAGC either. Funny whose hands some of our Tax $$ end up in these days, hey? :happy0001:

The one thing that drives me crazy is the PGC denying that they know how many deer we have. They admit they are using the SAK model to estimate the OWDD in each WMU just as they did in the past. They claim they know they know the change in the deer density from one year to the next ,yet they claim at the same time they don't know how many deer we have. IMHO ,that is simply outrageous and indicates the PGC thinks all hunters are idiots.

That is EXACTLY what they do on that board. And trust me, at one time I was privy to some of the inner workings on that mod board because I was given the password by a moderator and I logged in regularly to mosey around and snoop. There were many witch hunts going on there. The biggest witch hunt was when the one forum mod went after Hodgen and RJFIII and got them banned based on false info that was made up. I know for a FACT that the same mod was given the word to slow down on the banning. And I also know of several mods that stepped down because they no longer wanted to be a part of the banning witch hunt and board "cleansing". I know of a few other posters that were very vocal about this DMP and could represent their views very well that were ultimitely removed. Pike knows. He used to be a mod there. He11....the mod I speak of even had Pike in his crosshairs for quite some time. I've never experienced a bigger liar and coniver in my life.

ManySpurs, I believe you. I was banned because I "always have a smart comment" I was told. It was actually directed toward a a comment I made in a thread about a posters picture in which the hunter was getting ready to gut a deer. In the picture there was a road not 20 yards behind the hunter, and 2 beers laying on the ground. I commented about the beer, and how that wasnt appropriate, and IMO illegal. Also that maybe the deer was shot from that road. If they want to side with hunters who drink in the woods, thats their decision. Again, I want no part of that. I also think it was a good excuse to ban me, since I have a habit of posting about my displeasure with their DMP.

That's EXACTLY what it was. They put the crosshairs on you and waited. That's the way they work. I've seen it from the inside.

I followed your posts and at no time did I see you getting out of line.

Here's what I don't understand.A poor fellow stuck hunting on public land tells of his experience of seeing one or two deer in a week and all these guys blast the poor guy.Like a swarm of bees following people around who say there's few deer.So what's the big freaking deal?So they had a bad season.Instead of trying to make arses out of them help the poor guys out.

Ol' BeenThere.....he could take them all on and wear them down quick. I used to enjoy jabbing at him with a two sentence post and get a 5 paragraph post back from him.:s5:

This board rocks IMHO.
