are yall not allowed to kill one of 22 does or whatever?ya jus get 1 tag or somethin?
I much rather tag a mature buck like most other hunters but looks like I may end up with a doe ..Not to say theres anything wrong with it ,
Ive also hunted hard and havent filled a tag yet ..
I hunt 2 locatoins in Northern NY and one in Steuben County ..
Well last week and its muzzle loader now ,VERY glad they added it back in for my area ..
Freezers empty , sure to see a flat head ,,
Until last week deer numbers in my area were way down ,on 2 ocations I seen 11 does on one evening hunt and 14 on another ..
Havent seen a buck anywhere since November 19 th ?????

I would think "most other hunters" would be happy to tag any buck in NY state, especially at this point. Nothing against mature bucks...I would love to tag one some day but it's a challenge enough hunting pressured deer, so anything is worthy of pictures and a proud feeling. I will agree the last time I saw a buck was the last week of archery...go figure that one....

Fill those DMP's now, time is running out! Its har to believe that it is almost over for this year. I didnt get a DMP this year so Im still looking for a Buck. Took a decent 6pt with the bow but did not fond it until the next day and the Coyotes did a good job on it.
