That is not how law enforcement works. According to the law there is no difference between a broken 2G that is .75" and a brow tine that is only .75".
A WCO may cut you a break and consider it as a mistaken kill rather than an intentional violation, but it would still be a violation. Please quit, you have no idea how we enforce the law. The hunter would be giving the benefit of the doubt on the point still being one inch. |

Thanks a lot. I often wondered if the WCOs enforced the one inch law and I am sure glad to hear that they don't. Now we won't have to pass on those almost legal 5 pts. I printed your post and will put it in my license holder or wallet for future reference, if I have to show it to another WCO. |
That is legal buck.
sproul has spoken......... |
A buck with g3 points of that length would have most assuredly had g2 points exceeding one inch. Never seen it go the other way.
|
This buck is NOT legal and should not of been shot! Don't matter that it WAS a 6 point it was not a 6 when shot so therefor making it illegal! Those busted g2's don't look an inch to me. Jmo guys I would of passed knowing it's only a 4 point. This is like shooting a buck and kicking horns off to try to make it so u can use a doe tag! IMO
