Your taxidermist did nice detail work in the face and muscle texture. Now you can't kill another one unless it's bigger!

Oh, he's not the big boy. The land owner got the big boy on video for the fourth year in a row now, Thanksgiving day to be exact. If I pop him I'll quit.

NIce deer patsy. Guess that patience was rewarded. What did you say on the other thread, it was 7 years in that area before you were successful? Anyway, congrats.

Thanks Corn, These guys live one the winterside of the gorge where its so steep and thick you will never get them out. Thats the reason I don't kill does there, give them a reason to come out.

the guy that does my taxidermy is the most expensive in my area, i refer him to everybody i know and they all price shop get somebody else to do it, and are never happy with the job i say who cares about price i want a good job from somebody ive known for years and trust with the biggest deer ive ever shot. i dont have it mounted if its not bigger than my biggest. good job go get the big boy next year

They say another way to tell good taxidermy work is how it holds up 10 years down the road. A good price isn't a good price if it's falling apart after awhile. Still got two more days rifle to go after big boy this season.
