QDM, your thoughts
 

Ok, I will start it.

I consider myself a very lucky hunter. I hunt in 2 very different areas.

First area. We practice qdm in the sence of 8 points or better and/or spread out to the ears and we shoot does every other year. Now this might not be the best way for qdm but the quality of bucks are getting better. Plus its fun, this way most of the deer you see you can't shoot and now are allowed to sit and watch them. which to me, is the best part of the hunt.

second area. now this is my land I own at home. its 40 acres I bought so my kids and hopefully later on grandkids will always have a place to hunt. This is my piece of the pie. 40 acres out of lets say 400 acres that alot of people hunt and hunt for meat.This is the fun area. Shoot what you want to. friends and family get together to enjoy the hunt. I still hold off shooting little guys as long as I can but I am happy if someone else shoots them.
