Default My First Deer Ever!

Tonight i was out hunting, not expecting to see anything because of the high winds. I just about fell asleep, then i glimpsed up and here comes this nice spike. He walked right along the buck bomb scent trail i laid down, and went broadside at 30 yards. Made a perfect shot and he was down within 40. Needless to say i am happy.

Great job man, welcome to a life long passion. There is nothing like taking a deer with a bow, I wish I had started when I was as young as you!

Awesome first buck, and congrats. You made a fine shot, and did everything right by the sounds of it. Welcome to the ranks of successful bowhunters. I see guys like you doing it right, and I know our sport should be safe for future generations.
