Default Looking HOT NY

Today was a good day for me and the guys i hunt with here in NY, southern tier bow. Between the 3 of us we seen 12-15 deer, 7-8 different bucks and all were chasing doe. Just a heads up. Haven't seen more than 2 deer a piece up until now, none responded today though, and no one got a shot but was exciting none the less.

Can be really tough to get a shot during the chase phase. They never stop moving.

I'm seeing the same thing where I hunt in Tioga County. None of the bucks I saw were chasing. But they all had somewhere to go. I had to yell to get one of them to stop.

Seems weird to yell "Hey!!" through the quiet woods to stop a deer, but it did the trick when the normal stuff didn't.

Its been feast of famine here in N NY ..
Although I,ve noticed fewer deer this year .
Also seems they come out in the evening much later this year .
Any bucks I,ve seen are very timid and nervous when using any call weather its a doe bleat or grunt call .

In the last 2-3 days there are lots of bucks hanging in Catt County. It will only get better when the weather changes.
