I was in my stand last Sat and got down late morning when the wind kicked up. Swung by my buddy's stand about 300 yards away and told him to stay put and I would push the thickets that he was watching. I continued past his stand for approx 300 yards and was going to circle back. I ended up sneaking up on a 111 lb doe within 40 yards and dropped her on the spot. I generally have not had much luck when the winds howl but this worked out well for me. I was in unit K and now I will focus on filling my M tag.

I had to go to Ohio to fill a doe and buck tag! Nothing doing here during archery. Looking forward to taking the iron for a walk in the woods.
