NYS Region 9 proposal
This is a counter to the NYB/NYS proposal.
http://www.eriectyfsc.org/minutes/BigGame/2009/ppsl/R9BGPpsl2009.pdf
It addresses placing an early antlerless MZ PRIMITIVE only left over valid statewide tags from the previous year at
a time it will have the least effect on the bow season.
My suggestion would be to make it a true primitive only by adding traditional archery equipment as well.

I have absolutely no objections!! I like it-a few extra days of bow season and a primitive season that doesnt interfere with bow season and the regular season. I like the idea of always having the opening of the regular season the sat. before thanksgiving as well. Then after the following wknd most city hunters we get around here will be gone and done. Then our deer woods can get back to normal and i can go hunting again. I actually would even consider getting a primitive ML and takin advantage of the sept. season.
