NY wild Boar

Anyone hunting them? I think I am onto some sign, underneath the apple trees are pretty torn up and there seems to be some beds in the corn. I would like to get one, and have set up at night but nothing comes by yet. Any one been out or is going out for them?

Well then Im sure your'e familiar w/ cold brook game preserve. A tree knocked down the fence years ago, and a few russians got out supposedly. You probably knew that though. Good luck.

My thoughts exactly

Last week here in the Vermont Champlain Islands I saw what I thought was a loose pot belly pig. I was black, pretty big with a tusk sticking out one side of the mouth. I am not sure if it had a tusk on the other side but I figured it was a pot bellied pig. Now I wonder if we have some feral pigs running loose.

pot bellies look like potbellies, the wild version is usually more streamline.
