There is no doubt individual hunters can increase their odds of success by increasing the effort they expend, but the only thing that will increase the percentage of successful hunters is an increase in the number of legal bucks available.

Your problem is you try to simplify the problem by looking at it as a problem created by individual hunters , rather than one that was created by the PGC by allowing more does to be harvested then was necessary. You don't care about the effects it has had on the majority of hunters as long as your group can fill their tags. But there will come a time when you either can't or will not choose to spend the time and effort you are currently expending and at that point you may understand what has happened to deer hunting in PA.


I do all that and I'll bet I do more of it than you do,because I live where I hunt and have hunted this area for over 50 years. We can hunt all the adjoining properties and several that aren't adjoining and I give them strawberries, raspberries and produce in appreciation. I'm in the woods more than you could every hope to be and observe deer 365 days a year.

Wrong again. I spend four afternoons cutting trails through the neighbors cut and found buck rubs and trails some new trails and the deer will probably use the trails I cut.

As for your specific problem here, I'm simply addressing things that Bluebird has said in the past. He has said a number of times that scouting is a waste of time. Now he tells us he can do it from his driveway yet he complains often about the lack of deer when he hunts.

Yep, I participate over there as well. And yes, I get along with everyone there just fine. Do you post there or have you been banned over there like your juvenile friends? They dont tolerate the juvenile antics of folks like you and your two friends. I have no problem getting along with most here either but you and your two compadres get frustrated when I refuse to be shouted down by your lies, abject stupdity and personal attacks.
