I am ready to go. Did some last minute scouting this past weekend. I do admit after moving to MD the skeeters make things tuff with the earlier season. I pickeup up dome Off unscented deep woods, but I can smell the stuff so I knwo the deer can. Are Thermacells really scent free?

I get my first crack at the deer tomorrow morning. I hope I have some good game camera pictures to help me decide where any big deer are.

I'm actually going squirreling tomorrow. I also use it as an excuse to do some scouting. :)

Patuxent River State Park in the Mount Airy/Damascus area. Public land. |
I hunt in Montgomery County. I put out some corn and a couple does and fawns came out to it yesterday afternoon. Then they starting chasing each other and frolicking around. It was so funny. I've seen them play before, but yesterday they carried on for what seemed like 15 to 20 minutes just sprinting around the yard.
I haven't even shot yet this season. I bought a new target and plan to start doing some after work practicing. |
