246lbs field dressed.






mounted, This was my son's first buck in 10+ years of hunting, i'd say he did well... They still grow big in Franklinville.....

congrats to your son-nice buck..but 246lbs dressed !!!! come on. No way that buck dressed out at 246lbs. that would mean he was just under 300lbs live. Sorry im not buying it from that photo!! Nonetheless nice deer.

possibly-It takes a BIG deer to dress out over 200lbs. The buck in my avatar pic dressed out at 226 and he was gigantic. look how big his body is in relation to me and i am 6'2 and weigh 235. The deer in the pic was taken later in the season as well which means he lost a good amount of weight due to rigors of the rut. Dont get me wrong-hell of a deer, and a shooter in my book any day!! congrats again to your son.
