PA doe tags

Has anyone gotten their PA does tags yet? My check was cashed like a week after I sent it in. Just wondering if any of you PA residents have gotten your tags yet.

pa tags

My brother is a mailman and he said the only ones he has delivered so far are the ones returned because the unit was sold out.don't worry it is better to not get one back early then you know you got one.with the 2nd and 3rd choice this year and being able to send to any county treasurer it will take awhile. if your check was cashed it will come.

A couple of the County Treasurers started mailing them back to the hunters as soon as they had them processed. A few others held them until the majority of the checks had time to have cleared, then sent them back to the hunters. Most of them will not mail them out until just before they are required to do so, by the current regulations, so they still have until just before September 14th to mail them back to the hunters.

There is no real reason to panic or even be concerned if you haven’t received yours yet, it just means you sent to one of the County Treasurers that is waiting until the last minute to mail them back. I don’t know why they do it that way but many of them do. Maybe it is some kind of power trip thing or something.

My checks went through, too...which means they are coming...but for peace of mind just go on the PALS site and check your status. Its quick and easy...and it will even give you the license number on your new doe tag...so you KNOW it is coming.

I checked that pals site. It said I was awarded a antlerless tag. It is easy to use.

Thanks Rob, I thought the whole point of moving everything up was to avoid all the last minute stuff. Just goes to show what happens when the bureaucrats are involved.

Screaming, I'll check out the PALS site, thanks

Got our 2B tags yesterday. These were our third set. No tags yet for 2F or 2D but we can see em on the website. Since the 2B archery season opens early, those are the first we can use so all is good down this way.

Still think we need to get the doe tags away from County treasurers but it seems like someone lit a fire under them after the initial mess.
