Eh,what's up doc?
This rabbit has been seen in my garden off and on for the past couple weeks. What do you notice about the rabbit?

one - horned jack-alope with ring worm.

Bot fly larvae, aka wolves/warbles

It is a warble, in fact I think there are two of them that we can see on the neck.
It isn’t uncommon for rabbits to have warbles during the summer. Though. I suspect it probably pretty uncomfortable for the rabbit it doesn’t seem to have much of an adverse or long term affect on them. R.S. Bodenhorn |

RSB, while Ive heard it stated that warbles might not have severe or long term effects on the host rabbit once they later drop off, and that may be usually the case, Ive had 2 occassions where Ive seen full grown rabbits with warbles that were very weak and could barely walk. I have little doubt they most likely died shortly after Id seen them.
