A little too blurry to tell but it looks like striped maple growing which isn't good.Do you a more clear picture?

The last pic looks like young mountain ash to me. Also if you have beech then you have a pretty darn good food source for deer, turkeys, bear, and grouse just to name a few.. Beech is also some of the best fire wood you could get for as far as heat goes..
