Can I use my hunting license number on my trap tags then? I have a few old ones with my name and addy on it,but could I now order new tags just with my number and not my whole name and addy on it? A friend has a number he got from the PGC to identify him and wondering if I could just use my number then to identify me without having to get one from the PGC. No big deal really if I could,just curious.

Though that sounds like a good idea and might be a very good option in the future it would not be legal at this time due to the existing laws. Perhaps the law or regulations can be changed in the future to use your idea. It actually sounds like a good idea to me.
