Default And they wonder why.

We get new posters here every now and again, yet they don't contribute for long.
Every wonder why, I went back 8 pages on 28 page thread and these are the first lines of one members posts, not all mind you just most.

You are not even close to being honest.

You are nothing but a no good lying skunk

Let's see a pic of the one you tagged illegally as an archery kill.

Nice buck ,but it proves absolutely nothing.

You are not even close to being honest

Only in your wildest dreams.

Once again your inherent bias prevents you from seeing the forest for the trees.

But your not smart enough to realize

And that also means you think RSB is full of horse puckey

You don't have a clue what you are talking about

That is what you posted and it was a flat out lie

No , you are lying once again.

You are still quite wrong.

Nothing like nice open dialog huh.

Threads alwayssink to the lowest common denominator. Many here could be accused of starting posts this way including myself but it's curious that every other suspect involved seems to be able to converse and debate with others in a civil manner at least some of the time when that particular member isn't in the mix.

Actually, I don't post all that often because there is very rarely anything worthwhile being discussed. I am not about to lower myself to the same level as some on here. Alot of the bantering that takes place on here reminds me of a couple 2nd graders bickering back and forth at each other on the playground about nothing of any significance.

I have not even been logging on the past couple of days because I was getting bored with the conversation and I was starting to view it as a waste of my time.

Most people read through a post and try to see what another poster is trying to convey, at least I do.
I try to keep attacks on the light side and comical if possible.
But by refusing to even consider another's post as credible, you deem your own post unworthy.
Lately we have been introduced to tough guys, ooowwwwww Internet tough guys scare me just like those slinky Ole mountain lions do.
And remember just saying "nothing" says more than you might think.
Now Lets all try to have a nice spring.

X2. Very well stated Jim! I too was just trying to add a little humor, when it seemed debates where getting a little stagnant and out of hand.

Good idea Jim. I think I'm going to take advantage of the warm temps and pull my last two stands and maybe look around for a shed or ten

That is ironic coming from you, BWJ. Your childish name calling and animated attacks at BB have been the demise of more threads than anything else. While humorous at times, they have no doubt contributed in large part to the issue you described. Why don't you start with taking a long look back at your last 100 or so posts and see how many of them involved name calling addressed at BB, or animated characters poking fun at him....or how about your signature itself? It's just odd to me that you are so concerned with this going on and yet you are the single bigggest perpetrator. I've seen BB around the MB's for a long time, now and while he certainly loves to argue his points, he rarely resorts to name calling and taunting and when he does it is when he finally tires of it coming at him all of the time. (Often from you.) Think about it. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!

SS that paragraph directed at Jim could have had my name and a half dozen others inserted into it but the common denominator is tha same.

As an example, I completely refused to or acknowledgeor respond to BB for almost a month. several weeks back. All that didwas serve to make him try all that much harder to baitme personally into a flame war. Even though I posted as if he wasn't there, he relentlessly did his best getme involved withhim again and again.

He was rabidly active here a few years ago as deaddeer, ddear and deerfly causing the same havoc till a mod made it his mission to delete all of DD's improper posts. The real evil twin was Deerfly and hundredes of those posts were deleted entirely. Then, after DDhad left for for quite a while, this forum was still full of debate but it was pretty civil and reasonable till he came back ressurected under his presentscreen name.

I kinda see it like an open opportunity for entertainment.
I've admitted to more than one time posting complete and utter B.S. knowing [&:]bird won't even read through it before firing back a bunch of made up drivel. When things are slow here at work I sometimes need a little "pick me up" so I start the [&:]birds wheels a churning, just like a farm dog chases cars,[&:]bird burns upcalculator keysdreaming up logarithms to justify his proclamations,he just can not stop.
The man post on several forums daily about how bad deer hunting is and why it is so bad, then makes a post today about passing on any where from 6-12 bucks in either two days or two weeks, its up to what post you want to believe most I guess.

Oh did I say something about posting on other forums out loud?[:-]

Who ever decides to visit this forum, who ever contributes to this forum and who ever debates on this forum. If you look beyond the derogatory remarks, the humor at one another. What ever is said, regardless of what side of the issue that person has taken a stance or has defended. I believe it has shown,we all have one thing in common. Our love of hunting and the outdoors. That is the most important issue. I hope each and everyone never looses that passion. And I hope they share their passion on hunting with as many as possible.
