NH Turkeys

Anyone seeing turkeys strutting in New Hampshire yet? Seen a half dozen before the last snow, but none since. They dont seem to be out in the fields yet.

I' m seeing them! I' ve been getting up real early and watching and photographing about 10 different flocks for about the last three months. Up early and in the right area at the right time. Where in Concord are you at?

Im actually scouting in Weare Mk-M-Gobble. Havent done much looking in Concord. The ones I was watching seemed to leave the pattern they were on. Still a couple weeks to figure them out though I guess.

I' ve seen a few in the Jaffrey area. Big flock, but spread over a VERY large area. They seem to be on an every 6-7 day cycle through their range. I only know 2 roosting areas they use, and if you miss them it will be about 5 or 6 more days before they' re back.
