sproul, I agree. I used to go every year but after realizing its almost the same old stuff every single year, I would only go every couple of years. This will mark the second year in a row that I don't go.

My sentiments exactly. Past few years the only reason I went was to get the free magazine subscription. Not going this year, doubt that I'll go next year, not unless there is some change big time.

I am planning on going on the 2/13.I have never gone before. I have been told that if you go on a weekend you can not move in the place. I am taking off work of Friday and driving from Pittsburgh and planning on getting there around 10:00 a.m and spending the day.

Please let me know what to expect and how good is the Show?

The weekday crowds arent too bad but try to get there early and open the thing up. Plan for a long day if you want to see it all.

Maybe there is enough of us SW PA guys to get a carpool together

Last year was the 1st time I ever went. I really liked it. It is a very LONG day, wear comfy shoes & clothes, leave your coat in the car.
I'm heading back out again this year & looking forward to it.

Ryan, when are you heading over? I'm still up in the air as to when I want to go. I thought about shooting there as well, but I'm not sure the bow (or admittedly...me) will be ready.

WHAT TO EXPECT.... Tons of Outfitters! Probably 10 from each hunting state at minimum. Lots of Taxidermy work, Booths purchased from every manufacturer, "celebrity" hunters (if you want to call them that), product demos, Off Road equipment, etc. Oh, and of course The Copenhagen/Skoal girls always a nice display. I will be in the Main Hall-Wessner's Taxidermy, this year we will have a Kudu,Water Buck, Blue Wildebeast, Antelope, Spring buck, Musk Ox and a bunch of Whitetailsat other vendors booths all over the show. Definitely some cool animals to check out. I hope to see a bunch of you guys there.

Matt,
I'll be there the last Saturday of the show. My brother lives in Carlisle, I'm staying with him for the weekend.
