The point was Moose, that if our sport is suffering it isnt because of money spent on kids programs. They have more opportunities today season-wise than any time in history. Our hunter numbers are declining thanks to the extreme deer program and if adults are quitting, that is more adults that WONT be taking kids...

"Im involved in numerous clubs that offer to take the kids hunting. I guess you could call us big brothers. So what are you saying the adults in your club are to busy to take a kid hunting?????"

Im not a memberof any club. Ive also hunted with 2youth hunters (on different days)this season due to their dad only being able to take one and he has 3kids.

Not that it matters, Im not interested in discussing personal details, mine or yours. I have VERY little interest in a rediculous message board"who has done more for hunting, me or you." competition.

One thing I really dont care for is the club memberships in organizations like Penn Fed....

I know of a club that noone there supports the pgc deer plan, yet they are a member of the Pfsc.

Even though PFSC is 100% SUPPORTIVE of the deer plan AND count those people in all the clubs as members AND refer to those totals when speaking of SUPPORT for the deer plan! (LOL)

I dont like being a politicalpawn, knowingly or otherwise. I have enough friends and family who hunt, I dont need a club. If I want to be heard politically there are addresses emails and phone numbers that can be used even by individuals.

Sproul, don't you wonder a little bit why the USPwould tell you off for asking how many members they have?

Corny, you havent provided one bit of evidence for your claim that a majority (90% as I recall you claiming) of hunters opposes the PGC's policies and supports the USP

The only credible evaluation of hunter approval has shown that the majority still supports the current practices. Barroom chatter from thebeer enlightened experts may have you convinced but it doesn't fly in thereal world.

If the USP didn't file the lawsuit would PA tax payers pay less tax?
Who knows.... But there could be a better case going on in the courts.Something that might actually accomplish something. Here is an example of how stupid the case is. To me its equivalent to some one trying to sue the P&Y club for discrimination because their buck only scored 124 inches and not 125.
That is a very poor example ,especially since the court has rule that the USP has grounds to proceed. Are you claiming you know more than the judge appointed to hear the case?
The judge dont need to know alot about this case. All he or she needs is common sense....

One judge showed just that, common sense when he threw the first one out. Now it's the old lawyer game of reinventing the wheel refiling and throwing the crap against the wall till some sticks.

Please ask again! We'd all love to hear the answer!

As a dues paying member, I'd think that would be something that you have a right to know.

You are a liar. Show me one "evaluation"that has shown this? The ONLY evaluations one has are the "unscientific" ones taken place on message boards, and all those through the years have been NON-herd reduction by a landslide. Taking to people anywhere in the state, asking people if they are againstthe extent of hr is like asking if they like windy coldor driving wooden splinters under their finger nails.

"Barroom chatter from thebeer enlightened experts may have you convinced but it doesn't fly in thereal world. "

Sorry pal. Havent been to a bar in years, so wouldnt know firsthand. Course I know many who do, and they, along with everyone else not eco-fruitcake affiliated, arent for the plan either.

I agree. Similar to bills paying hunters, or for that matter nonpaying nonhunter citizens of the state or anyone else should be entitled to OPEN wildlife management information.... Like HERD ESTIMATES>
