DEER SCENT FROZE

this is first year i had deer scent freeze.

i went to that BLUE CODE stuff in gel and it froze solid.

no scent at all from it.

i dont think my tinks ever froze that it would still not work.

anyone run into this.

You could mix Propylene Glycol with it. Find someone who traps and have them mix it for you. Urines will freeze if anti freeze isn't mixed with it. But a deers nose can smell it frozen or thawed as a canine can. The antifreeze just makes it easier to apply to your scent post.

why would you put ethylene glycol in a scent. Add a foreign odor is all thats going to do. Just bring it in the house after hunting so it doesnt freeze.

It is odorless. If it wasn't, do you think trappers would use it? Do you think they would catch animals if it had an odor to it? Trust me,trappers are more weary of items that leave scent at a set than hunters are. Way more,because some depends on catches for their income.

i tried to smell it,nothing.

i guess you cant use it in winter.

I went to feed my horses this morning and their crap was frozen solid.it made pickin the stalls pretty easy.

my cousin made over 300,000this year.

he gets 1/3 of your settlement.

you know what is one of his biggest ones,DOG BITES.

i raised my insurance on my home from 150,000 to 300,000,did not cost to much.

he told me avg lawsuit ,not dog is 250,000 now.

i got sued 2 times with women falling on my sidewalks going to church even tho i did my best to keepthem clean.

It doesnt just make dogs crazy!!

My buddy put up a blind just outside a cow pasture on our Illinois lease and put out some Tinks. The wind took the scent into the pasture and the bull came a running!. he stood there and pawed the ground and bellowed all evening. At dark, we had to go back through that pasture to get out. Made for an interesting walk!

BTB, back in the fall I posted about being set up on the edge a pasture andjust about to touch the release on a doe when a small bull came running down hill and crashed into the electric fence just behind and below my stand. Inever saw or heard him coming.Scared the heck out of me and the doe. I couldn't figure out why he had done that and you may have justsolved the mystery.

my dogs hair goes up and he gets like a ROBOT ,walking stiff legged,hissing sounds coming from his mouth,tail curled .:)
