Livingston County Buck
 

I killed this buck last Saturday while hunting in Livonia. My brother in law and I sat in stands in opposite side of the woods that we hunt. He noticed this buck standing in a field to his left. He was hanging with two does. My brother in law couldnt get a shot through the trees. He watched him for over an hour. The buck came into the woods twice in that time period but a clear shot didnt offer itself. Itold him I was going to get down and sneak around and try to bump the deer his way. I was able to stalk within 30 yards of him without him knowing. He was bedded down on the edge of the field facing the woods. I made a little noiseto get him up but instead of running through the woods he turned staright back to me. One shot and he was mine. 9 point with a unique rack. Only problem is that when he went down he crashed hard on his right side and completely severed his antler off from his skull plate. The taxidermist is going to repair it. It was such a clean break it fits perfectly where it came out of his skull late.
